Description
In the heart of Forest Village Bergeijk, a new facility building gracefully emerges, its circular form flowing like a natural extension of the landscape. This architectural composition is designed to embrace the central square, where the main roads, pathways, and lodges converge, creating a tranquil yet dynamic hub. With its gentle curves and organic form, the building offers both a functional and aesthetic anchor for the park. At its center lies the orangerie, a vibrant green space filled with trees and plants that serve as the heart of the building. More than just an aesthetic feature, this living space functions as a restaurant, offering guests a unique dining experience within a verdant oasis. Surrounded by nature, the orangerie invites relaxation and connection, seamlessly blending the indoors with the outdoors.
Around this central space, the building’s other functions unfold in a thoughtful, open layout. The shop, swimming pool, kitchen, and essential services are organized to flow naturally, creating a sense of ease and exploration for visitors. Upstairs, an airy atrium overlooks the entrance hall and reception area, welcoming light and fostering a sense of openness. On this floor, the indoor playground for children, the youth corner, and technical spaces are carefully integrated, ensuring every need is met with attention to detail.
With its green roofs and biophilic design, the building stands as a symbol of sustainability and harmony with nature. It offers not just a place of function, but a space that invites reflection and connection, bringing together the elements of the natural world and the comfort of modern design in perfect balance.
